In other news, Konami has spread its wings to the Argentine soccer world by adding Club Atlético River Plate to the list of PES 2020-exclusive clubs. First is “eFootball Open” which will be open to all users on the in-game mode “Matchday.” The other competition is “eFootball Pro” where players take on top eFootball teams donning their favorite football club colors. “As part of our mission to allow more players to experience the joy of esports, “eFootball” – combining esports and football – was added to the title of the series and with “eFootball PES 2020″, we will also introduce a brand new type of esports competition,” said Konami.Īccording to Konami, the tournament will consist of two separate competitions.
The DLC will also tag along with an eFootball PES 2020-exclusive eSports tournament managed by UEFA.

We are partnering with UEFA to bring PES fans the oppurtunity to experience the FULLY LICENSED tournament through an update pack coming in 2020. UEFA EURO 2020 is coming to #eFootballPES2020! It will add over 50 European national football associations, national teams’ kits, official EURO tournament balls and faithfully recreated hosting stadiums as well as player likeness courtesy of 3D scanning.
UEFA Euro 2020 will come to PES 2020 later on during Q2 2020 as free DLC. In addition, there will be an eSports tournament and a new exclusive Argentine club. And they just got it right with this new partnership. While EA Sports FIFA dominates the World Cup tournament as well as the Euro League, Konami is also seeking greener pastures. Konami has announced an exclusive partnership with UEFA Euro 2020.
